As an official Activity Hub for Open Streets Windsor, we are taking over the entire car-free street and opening our doors for a day of shopping, live entertainment, and pet-friendly activities. Whether you are walking the route with your dog, or just biking through to enjoy the sights, there is something for everyone in the family to enjoy!
Stroll the car-free street and discover amazing deals, specials, and unique finds from your favorite Pillette Village businesses.
Groove to the smooth sounds of the Jazz Cats performing live as you and your pup enjoy the festival atmosphere!
The entire hub is designed with your furry best friend in mind! Enjoy a safe, welcoming environment with plenty of space for your dogs to socialize along the route.
We are thrilled to welcome the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society to Paws in Pillette! Stop by their dedicated activity zone to meet the team, learn about local adoption initiatives, and support the incredible work they do for animals across our community.
Balloon Lady Lou: Get ready for awesome face painting, custom balloon animals, and glitter tattoos!
The Hook Pusher’s “Adopt-a-Pet” Tent: Kids can visit this pop-up shop to “adopt” crocheted pet toys and stuffed animals (complete with official adoption papers!). All proceeds from adoptions will raise money for the Windsor/Essex County Humane Society.
Interactive Kids Canvas: Elaine Coventry will be hosting a live painting tent where kids can use animal stamps and inspiration to contribute to a massive 30″ x 30″ community canvas.
Thirty x Thirty Show: Explore their annual size-themed show featuring over 100 local creators, with special animal-themed pieces on display.
Live Pet Portraits: Steph Mason will be doing a live pet portrait illustration demonstration. Donate to the Humane Society at the gallery to earn a ballot for a chance to win a custom portrait of your own pet!
Cool Collectibles & Goods: Check out animal-themed lampwork glass jewelry by Michelle Taylor, and hand-pulled linocut print greeting cards featuring cats by Patricia Nodder (with card proceeds supporting the Humane Society).
Free Take-Aways: Pick up free animal colouring pages for the kids to take home!
Help us spread the word about Paws in Pillette! We are looking for neighbors to host a lawn sign in their yard for the month of May. We will even drop it off for you!
